Darcy Adler Gans

Lifelong Illinois resident and proud graduate of The University of Illinois at Urbana -Champaign. After a long career in media relations and marketing communications, my retirement job is substitute teaching (primarily in Communications Arts) at our local high school. Married to Al for 46 years and proud mother of two grown children, both of whom live in Chicago. Advocated on behalf of the lupus community for the adoption of the Affordable Care Act.

As I ran out of school one day with a friend hoping for a very "long lunch," I didn't realize our shenanigans for being captured for eternity in the senior movie as we outran Sarge and his Cushman vehicle. Also, being selected to appear in a promotional film for Gillette when the Daisy Razor was first introduced my senior year.
